What a weekend! I made it through my first ever bridal show and what an awesome experience it has been! I got to meet so many great people, vendors and I had an incredible time talking and displaying what I enjoy the most - PHOTOGRAPHY!  The bridal show took place at the beautiful Lake Natoma Inn in Folsom. I mentioned on an earlier post that this place is super special to me, Jason and I got married there almost five years ago. Yeah, time flies!

It’s been a super busy year for me so far. Weddings are in full swing (yayyy), on top of that I have been spending a lot of time on my upcoming bridal show. I will be at the Folsom Bridal Show at beautiful Lake Natoma Inn tomorrow, April 25th, 2010. The show will be on from 11am-4pm. Please join me and many other awesome vendors at the show. Finally this year, I have managed to attend WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International). It was a last minutes plan! I was sick for a while, couldn’t decide if I should go or not. It was on Friday only when I pulled the trigger and arranged everything. So that means that I will be in Vegas..yippyyy…I think this will be a great way to kick off my wedding season. Immediately after I return from Vegas I will be shooting Meghan and Lukes spring wedding in Sacramento. It will only get crazier after that!!! Can’t wait!

I’m excited to be at WPPI this year. I don’t know my shcedule yet, but I know that I’ll be busy. I’ll be there for two days only, therefore, I plan to squeeze in as much as I can. I will be checking emails, don’t hesitate to contact me you have any questions for me.

A few weeks ago I got an email to be informed that Impressions by Nudrat Photography was selected to receive the WeddingWire 2010 Bride’s Choice Awards™.  That made me super happy, my hard work was finally starting to get recognized by the world! As I mentioned earlier, I never imagined becoming a photographer, let alone starting my own photography business! To get a recognition, that was totally decided by the brides’ and grooms’ experience with me, is an ultimate honor. I’m glad to have found my passion doing a job that captures fond memories, love of tender hearts and the beauty and passion we all share. This is why I love doing what I do! I may get up one day and reject the idea of writing code, but hopefully, I will not stop capturing life as it goes on.

Summer is not over yet, in fact, August is supposed to be very very hot in Sacramento.
