Folsom Bridal show & the e-session winner

What a weekend! I made it through my first ever bridal show and what an awesome experience it has been! I got to meet so many great people, vendors and I had an incredible time talking and displaying what I enjoy the most - PHOTOGRAPHY! The bridal show took place at the beautiful Lake Natoma Inn in Folsom. I mentioned on an earlier post that this place is super special to me, Jason and I got married there almost five years ago. Yeah, time flies!

Folsom Bridal Show, specials and gift certificates

It’s been a super busy year for me so far. Weddings are in full swing (yayyy), on top of that I have been spending a lot of time on my upcoming bridal show. I will be at the Folsom Bridal Show at beautiful Lake Natoma Inn tomorrow, April 25th, 2010. The show will be on from 11am-4pm. Please join me and many other awesome vendors at the show. Check out my booth. I will be there with my latest and greatest albums, showcasing my work from recent weddings. I am so excited! There will also be giveaways. I am giving away a gift certificate for a ONE HOUR Engagement session along with 2 8×10 prints. You can also enter to win an engagement session when you visit my booth. Almost everybody has a facebook fan page now-a-days. I have resisted creating one all this time. But finally, I have one up and running. Finally this year, I have managed to attend WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International). It was a last minutes plan! I was sick for a while, couldn’t decide if I should go or not. It was on Friday only when I pulled the trigger and arranged everything. So that means that I will be in Vegas..yippyyy…I think this will be a great way to kick off my wedding season. Immediately after I return from Vegas I will be shooting Meghan and Lukes spring wedding in Sacramento. It will only get crazier after that!!! Can’t wait!

I’m excited to be at WPPI this year. I don’t know my shcedule yet, but I know that I’ll be busy. I’ll be there for two days only, therefore, I plan to squeeze in as much as I can. I will be checking emails, don’t hesitate to contact me you have any questions for me.

A few weeks ago I got an email to be informed that Impressions by Nudrat Photography was selected to receive the WeddingWire 2010 Bride’s Choice Awards™. That made me super happy, my hard work was finally starting to get recognized by the world! The Bride’s Choice Awards recognizes and celebrates excellence in quality and service within the wedding industry, as determined by over 500,000 newlyweds. Being a recipient of this award means my services are in the top 5 percent of all wedding professionals in the WeddingWire Community!

As I mentioned earlier, I never imagined becoming a photographer, let alone starting my own photography business! To get a recognition, that was totally decided by the brides’ and grooms’ experience with me, is an ultimate honor. I’m glad to have found my passion doing a job that captures fond memories, love of tender hearts and the beauty and passion we all share. This is why I love doing what I do! I may get up one day and reject the idea of writing code, but hopefully, I will not stop capturing life as it goes on.

Summer is not over yet, in fact, August is supposed to be very very hot in Sacramento.
