Roseville Sacramento wedding & portrait photographer

They fell in love in New York; it was a love at first sight, as JP said. They travelled back closer to home and settled in San Francisco. It was a pleasure shooting with Nicole and JP yesterday. Nicole wanted to shoot at the Baker Beach in San Francisco where they often visit with Como, their three year old Golden Retreiver. I was hoping for a brighter day but, hey, we were lucky that fog wasn’t all over the bay!! The Golden Gate bridge was half covered with the cloud, but we managed to capture a few glimpse of it in the background.

Nicole is a natural beauty. Her smile and looks are to die for. I loved the playful and fun side of the couple. It just made their personality shine through the images. Summer is always cold in San Francisco, but that didn’t stop Nicole and JP from having fun. It was a joy chatting with them about travel, food and all the common grounds we have. I’m soooo looking forward to their wine country wedding in about a month. I know it’s going to be incredible! Now enjoy a few from Nicole and JP’s engagement session on the Baker Beach.

I was thinking about how I clicked so well with Ann & Josh! We met at the Folsom Bridal Show at Lake Natoma Inn. The moment I heard that they were getting married in Lake Natoma, I was on like a light bulb…yeahhhh…we got married there too; a solid reason to connect It brought my memories back from 2005. They planned for a short engagement and a quick wedding…just like us! And the list can go on. I was so excited to know that I’ll get to shoot Ann & Josh’s Lake Natoma wedding. Yesterday we headed out to downtown Sacramento after a quick photo session at their residence with their cats tweeky and chito. It was a fun shoot at the Capitol Rose Garden and at the tower bridge. I love, love, love that yellow bridge…can’t go wrong with an image in front of it. Enjoy a few snaps from their shoot.

Another fave…

Sunday was an adventure for us! My hubby and I took a trip down to the central valley (Fresno) to meet up with Briana and Lee for their enagement session. I was excited but got really worried after looking at the weather forecast. We were trying to leave the rain behind, checking the radar and making sure that we make it to Fresno before it comes down hard. And we made it!!! Briana and Lee welcomed us with big hugs and took us to Lee’s garden where they wanted to have their pictures taken. First thing that came to my mind was “this is my dream garden!” Lee did such a great job building creating his very own vege garden. I wish mine looked like that! They had a lot of fun at the garden; who knew that pulling weeds would be so much fun

Bri and Lee love to bowl. To capture some fun moments, we headed out to the nearby bowling alley. I was sooo excited to shoot at the alley and sooo impressed at their skills. Not only they played well, they also rocked the session there. Check out the photos below

Tiffany & Gustavo were seriously one of the most playful couples I have ever photographed! They are super good looking, as you can tell from the pictures. They were also verrrryyy relaxed, had fun through out the shoot which allowed me to capture beautiful photographs of the couple. We had a great time walking around the old Sac, taking advantage of the non-rainy day. We were super lucky, ’cause the rain didn’t stop for the next few days.

I’m excited to photograph Tiffany and Gutavo’s summer wedding in South Lake Tahoe. I know it’s going to be awesome!!! Thank you guys, for driving out to Sacramento and shooting with me.

A week ago J & I cruised over to a nearby neighborhood park to shoot with Amanda and Tim on their engagement session. Ozzie, their dog, came along with us and posed in a couple photos as well (see below). Great thing about this park is, it looks different at different time of the year. When we had our photos taken there in September, it was all dry and brown. Now that’s it rained a few times in Roseville, the trees started to turn green. It was so pretty out there, love was in the air Tim and Amanda were feeling it too…
